Watson's Wanderers

Starting off from The Plough, Christleton. Photo by Glennys Hammond.

Watson's Wanderers meet every Tuesday at 10.00 at the cross roads by the Plough Inn, Christleton.

The destination is always a convivial pub and distances vary between 30 and 80 miles depending on time of the year.

The rides leader is usually Harry Watson, who is not usually contactable in advance so just turn up and see where he takes you!

On Tuesday 27 November 2012 some 30 cyclists left Christleton at 10:00am to ride, via coffee at the Ice Cream Farm, to Willington Hall for a special lunch. Willington Hall is the 600th different pub visited by Watson's Wanderers since inception some 22 years ago. Click here to see photos of the event.
